This appears to be the only house in the auction in Corktown. Looks like a nice place. Also looks like there are people living there.
The permit to build this two-story, wood frame house was issued to Albert E. Thatcher, its first resident, on May 11, 1894. The original address was 149 Leverette. Mr. Thatcher, a railroad engineer, had piloted the locomotive that proceeded Abraham Lincoln's funeral train between New York and Albany, en route to Springfield, Ill. Mr. Thatcher lived in the home with his wife Amelia until his death on July 25, 1910.
