I did some checking on this property, but no super in depth. In 1942 the LaChoy Food Processing company was registered at this address with the then version of the USDA. In the 50s and 60s (and maybe 70s) it was the Micromatic Hone Corp, with Don S. Connor as president. In 1987 Daughtry Inc was founded under Robert Daughtry, and in 2000 Gilreath Manufacturing Inc was established. Perhaps they are related to the current owners.
From a building point of view, the front door is ajar, so there is probably some level of stripping inside. Just another gem of industrial decay, I am afraid.
