Now Showing: 2013 Foreclosure Risk

As of April 1st, 2013, all properties that were at risk of foreclosure in Wayne County this year and did not address tax issues are foreclosed and title has transferred to the Wayne County Treasurer. However, there is still time to redeem a property and prevent it from entering the foreclosure auction.

Oh, that's a great thing then. Good to hear some owners could make it work and not be displaced. I was just worried the county would level some really interesting buildings. When it comes to Wayne County, you never know!

Typically "withdrawn" auctions are withdrawn because the property owner managed to come up with the back taxes before the auction... not surprising considering this is a prime piece of real estate.

What's with all this "Withdrawn" business?! It seems like every house I've been interested in has been withdrawn before this second round. Sigh. Are they tearing them down? Why not just take $500 for them?
